- Each shade is unique, embracing the Japanese philosophy of Wabi-Sabi - the beauty of imperfection. Hand-applied gold leaf creates a warm, textured glow, with each segment carefully placed to form a one-of-a-kind mosaic. Subtle gaps and fissures are a natural part of this artisanal process, enhancing the character of each piece. If you appreciate handcrafted artistry, you’ll love the ambiance these shades create. However, if you prefer a uniform, mass-produced look, this design may not be the best fit for you. We love the warm light it casts.
