- Porcelain is a natural material drawn from the earth and each translucent shade is individually hand-pulled from a slip-cast mold. This age-old artisanal process results in subtle variations in translucency, tone, and surface finish, making every piece unique. If you prefer a uniform, mass-produced look, slip-cast bone porcelain may not be the best fit for you, but we love the warmth and diffused light it provides.
